Urban Steel Plays NYS Fair:

On Saturday, August 28, fairgoers at the New York State Fair were blown away by the professionalism of the Urban Steel Band from Rochester, NY.
The band overfilled the seating of the large tent they were performing at and quite literally stopped foot traffic in the entire area. They played a wide variety of popular tunes - Disney's "Under The Sea', Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean",  Kevin Little's "Turn Me On" turning them into instant Caribbean classics. They also played many traditional Steel Drum tunes. Listening for only an hour wasn't enough for many audience members and consequently the band sold out of it's available stock of CD's in less then 20 minutes. A quote from one young listener says it all "Urban Steel Rocks!"
